Jacqueline believes in safeguarding our clients’ trust and confidence by ensuring that the Providend team functions in a legally compliant and ethical manner without compromising on our business objectives and operational efficiencies.
Jacqueline joined the team at Providend as Head of Group Legal & Compliance after leaving her role as a corporate partner in a law firm. She finds it an incredible blessing to be working with a team which pursues a corporate mission she believes in and holds fast to corporate values which are aligned with her own personal values.
Jacqueline leads and designs effective compliance strategies and programmes, while supporting the business units in all things legal.
In her free time, Jacqueline enjoys making things with her hands from pottery and painting to floral arrangements.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Surviving law school and practicing as a lawyer, despite a childhood fear of public speaking.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Caifan, so I can still get variety.
What makes you laugh the most?
My husband cracks me up.
What is one superpower you wish you could have and why?
Teleport, so I can save time on commutes.

Not a parent but a pawrent – when my sausage dog finally peed on the grass.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
God’s plan is always better, even if it doesn’t seem like it.
