As Head of Finance & People at Providend, Kang Hui not only manages important financial functions of the firm but is also responsible for championing an equitable workplace that embodies a culture which reinforces our mission and values.
Prior to joining Providend, Kang Hui was an Audit Senior with Deloitte & Touche LLP where he gained extensive experience in auditing both listed and non-listed companies in multiple industries such as real estate fund, construction, hotels, steel trading, manufacturing and retail.
Kang Hui graduated with Double Degree in Accountancy and Business with honours from Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He is also a Chartered Accountant of Singapore with Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant with ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountants Coordinating Committee.
Kang Hui believes that it is important to adopt a growth mindset and engage in continuous self-development to thrive in this ever-changing environment while maintaining a positive outlook in life. He is constantly seeking ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of current processes that help develop high performing teams and employees.

Proudest accomplishment
Being top in my Diploma in Business Management cohort as this is the only time when I attained first position, not just in my class, but the entire level (haha!). More importantly, it proves that hard work and perseverance do pay off!
Superpower I wish I could have
Flying! So that I could see places from different angles as well as save some money on travelling and avoid crowded public transport!
My exercise regime
I would usually go to the gym on weekends where I will train chest, back and leg muscles on Saturday and shoulders and arms on Sunday.
