Frequently-asked Questions

Can I whistleblow anonymously?

Yes, all reports will be investigated whether or not they are anonymous.

Who will look into my whistleblowing report?

The Head of Group Compliance will be in charge of looking into your whistle blowing report. If the report involves the Head of Group Compliance, the Group Chief Operating Officer will oversee the investigation process instead.

After I have submitted a report, how would I know my report is being investigated?

If you have provided your identification and contact details, the investigation officer will inform you of the commencement of the investigation.

Due to the varied nature of the whistle blowing reports, it may not be possible to lay down precise timelines for such investigations. The investigating officer will ensure that the investigations are undertaken in the shortest possible time, without affecting the accuracy and reliability of those investigations.

Will I be informed of the outcome of the investigation?

You may be informed of the outcome if you have provided your identification and contact details. However, this is subject to consideration of the privacy against whom the allegations were made and any internal policies. Additionally, if you are not an employee, the communication applies only if you agree in writing to maintain confidentiality in relation to any information provided.

I am not sure if I have sufficient evidence to lodge a report. Should I still report?

Yes, if the concerns raised are without malice and in good faith, you must believe that the information/allegations disclosed are substantially true. The allegation must not be made for the purpose of personal gain.

Is there a monetary reward for whistleblowers?

No, there is no reward in any form.
