Episode 25: Learning Investing Through the Mountain Experience

Christopher Tan

In the last episode, I shared 5 interesting investment lessons we can learn from football. This week, I’ll share my learnings as I braved through the jungles and mountains back when I was an army officer!

“I did not use my compass and map; as a result, I got lost. We ended up staying in the jungle for a night without water and food. On top of that, we were harassed by a family of wild boars!”

Important note: You cannot go against the mountains. Likewise, you must follow the financial markets to take its course to give you the returns.
